Chiropractors for Ankle Pain

on the Sunshine Coast

Is ankle pain making it difficult for you to enjoy your favourite activities? With over 34 years of experience, our team of dedicated chiropractors is here to help you get back on your feet and doing the things you love.

What causes ankle pain?

Ankle pain is a common condition, with studies showing that it affects 24% of people aged over 45 years.

While it can affect anyone, athletes and people who engage in high-impact sports or activities that involve repetitive motions are at higher risk of ankle injuries and related pain.

It can stem from various factors, including:

  • Sprains, which occur when the ligaments surrounding the ankle stretch or tear due to sudden twisting or rolling motions.
  • Overuse or repetitive strain injuries, such as tendinitis or stress fractures.
  • Conditions like arthritis, nerve compression or circulatory problems.
  • Biomechanical issues like flat feet or improper footwear.

Rather than simply masking symptoms with medication, we focus on restoring proper alignment, improving joint function, and addressing muscular imbalances to promote long-term healing and relief.
