Chiropractors for Neck Pain

on the Sunshine Coast

Is persistent neck pain disrupting your daily life and causing you discomfort? Our team of experienced chiropractors has been helping Sunshine Coast residents reduce pain and regain their quality of life for the past 34 years.

What causes neck pain?

Neck pain is a very common problem. In fact, it is estimated that 22% to 70% of people will have neck pain at some point in their lives.

It can be caused by a variety of factors, including:

  • poor posture
  • muscle tension and stress
  • repetitive actions (RSI - Repetitive Strain Injury)
  • injury and trauma
  • age-related conditions
  • arthritis
  • underlying musculoskeletal issues

The good news is that in many cases, neck pain heals and improves with time and appropriate treatment.

If you're ready to regain control of your neck, our team of experienced chiropractors would be delighted to assess you and provide effective treatment that will improve your quality of life.

How we treat neck pain

Our doctors don't just treat the symptoms, they address the root causes of your neck pain.

Before we decide on the best treatment(s), we will conduct a thorough assessment of your pain, covering aspects such as assessing the chronicity or acute nature of the injury, going over any neurological deficits and completing orthopaedic and muscle tests. We can then provide treatments such as:

  • Spinal adjustment(s)
  • Mobilisation(s)
  • Soft tissue therapy (including trigger point release and deep dry needling)
  • Cervical traction
  • Activator hand held adjustments
  • Lifestyle advice and work/home ergonomics
  • Posture correction
  • Nutritional and supplement guidance
  • Prescription of exercise and stretches
  • Prescription of practitioner supplements or further medical tests

Choose the safer, faster way to pain relief

Our doctors will diagnose the specific causes of your neck pain. During your initial consultation, they will take an in-depth medical history and perform a physical exam, including neurological and orthopaedic testing.
